Last night Aidan tried to tell me I couldn’t use a wood pallet for plastic boxes.
Okay. I know you’re trying to be helpful…maybe? But you do know I’ve been here like 20 times as long as you, right?
He actually got David over to prove me wrong. Luckily David backed me up, as I knew he would, since I was right. “It doesn’t matter,” he said.
Plastic boxes can have wood or plastic pallets. Only Mazda boxes are exempt from this rule. Mazda boxes must have plastic.
Cardboard boxes can only have have wooden pallets.
The work cell in question changed over from cardboard boxes to plastic mid-shift.
Wood pallets are much easier for me to lift on my own than the heavier plastic pallets, which weigh about 80 pounds, and I knew that since they were changed over to plastic boxes, I could use either type of pallet.
Aidan was confused.
It’s not the first time he’s tried to show me how to do my job.
There have been times I have declined help and he has gone ahead and helped anyway.
He doesn’t use ShopVue at all. I’ll go out to do a pickup, and it’s already been done. So I’ve wasted a trip, time, energy, resources.
One night he told me not to worry about any pickups. He’d get them.
Yeah, no.
So I really don’t mind if he stays on the other side with David.
I guess I really don’t get along with everybody. I do have a hard time with people who are notoriously difficult, like Finn and Mavis.
I am so sad for Mavis. I know she doesn’t like me, but I want to make her something. Only I don’t cook.
No time like the present.
