The Writing on the Wall 👍

Never mind, I’m going back to sleep.

Nah, but I am really groggy. I just got up and took my meds a couple of minutes ago.

I was sick to my stomach yesterday. I don’t feel great today. I shouldn’t be eating so much ice cream. I am lactose intolerant.

But it’s okay. I have a plan.

My plan is to try to maintain on vacation, and then start fresh on Tuesday. Without ice cream. Without cookies.

I do not have a plan for how I’m supposed to stay awake past 7:00 at night. Start taking my meds hours later, I guess? I have another dose of Adderall I can take later in the day. That might help. I will need to remember to pack it.

We are going to the Upper Valley. Almost Vermont. It’s supposed to rain all weekend, but that’s okay. The kids enjoy swimming in the hotel pool. Desmond says he hates it when he first gets in the water, and it’s freezing. 🇮🇪

Desmond wrote that last sentence. He said I could get rid of the flag, but I like it. Desmond likes flags and maps.

I wonder about this: because of the national shortage, I stopped taking my afternoon Adderall several months ago, and since then, I feel like I’ve had a much harder time staying awake in the evening.

Also, I noticed my posting behaviors have decreased, and I’m curious as to whether fewer posts per day is a reason I’m seeing a change in the data as compared to the fall and winter.

I know there are other reasons for the change, too.

Data is fascinating. Everyone should collect data on something. It gives you so much information. It can back up what you already know in your gut. It can literally be the writing on the wall. If you know how to interpret it.
