Epic Fail

I tried to sleep, but couldn’t. I lay awake for hours, thinking, thinking, thinking.

About sponges, mostly.

I’m kidding, obviously.

No, daydreaming, I’m afraid…

I need a shower. I dunno, after I sleep (or don’t sleep, in this case), I like a good, hot shower to make me feel clean. Like most anyone, I suppose.

I don’t really have much to write about. Wanna see some random pictures? Hold on…

Baby Aislyn. Isn’t she beautiful?
When she came home, Desmond was so excited to touch her, he ran to the sink to wash his hands, and brought the stool so he could reach.
That’s just me, you’ve seen me. Just so you know, I do have a closet full of shirts that cover me. They just don’t look or feel very good, right now.
Aislyn doing yoga stretches. She figured them out on her own, from the iPad, I think.
Child’s pose?
Shane being totally adorable.
A cat and his boy
A dad and his boy. Baby Desmond, 2013. 5 1/2 weeks premature. So tiny. So precious.

Wow, can’t believe it’s really been 10 years! They warn you it goes by fast. What does Regina Spektor say? “‘Enjoy your youth’ sounds like a threat.” I’m not a huge fan, but she sure is right about that.

Sometimes I get nervous about posting pictures. I’ve removed photos before. But in all honesty, this is a very small project. I don’t have millions of followers or even visits. If I did, there wouldn’t be pictures, other than possibly myself and the cat.

That’s why I value all of you as much as I do. Thank you for caring about my writing. Or me. Or both.

Hey, it’s December 31. Anyone staying up tonight? Not me. I’ll be in bed by 6:30, probably.
