Hands

My hands get dry in the winter now. And this year, the dirt and grime from the WH has settled in all of the tiny cracks and crevices caused by the dryness.

So my knuckles and cuticles look dirty, no matter what I do, how many times or how long I wash.

YUCK

The rest of me might look young, but my hands kind of give me away, don’t they.

I told my OT that the HR lady believed me when I joked I was 29, and she said I could pass for 29! No way, but maybe 35. My mother was youthful, also. Aislyn will probably look like a teenager for a long, long time, and hate it. Until she’s about 25. Then she’ll get mad when they don’t card her. But they probably will.

In all honesty, there are some other signs of aging on me that you don’t see. Because I am a special effects artist. Or a con artist.

Anyway, that’s it for that post.
