I just got a letter in the mail saying my worker’s comp claim has been denied?! Are. You. SHITTING me?!!!

It says, “…as we discussed, we are unable to accept your claim for benefits.”

No such discussion transpired.

It says there is not enough information to prove the injury is work-related. For REALS?

Okay. I worked 40 hours a week with my fingers, engaging in repetitive motion, for seven and a half months. But somehow, that’s not enough information?!

I left an infuriated message in her voice mailbox, insisting she call me “as soon as humanly possible.”
