I looked in the bathroom mirror this afternoon and I could not believe there was this whole film of dirt covering my face. I don’t know why it surprised me, some of those boxes are absolutely filthy!
I get so sweaty with the hard hat on that my bangs are soaking wet by the end of the day, along with most of my clothes.
But I made it out of there alive.
Today I met Evan. Evan is very outgoing and talked to me a lot. He is older than I initially thought (I’d thought he was just a kid, like Eddie), but not sure if he’s quite my age.
I used to think that Ray and David were the same person, which is why I got so confused the first time David smiled and nodded at me as he drove by. Wow, I thought, Ray’s in a really good mood today! Nope. It was David.
It’s hard to distinguish between some of the handlers who are close in height because they all wear hats and safety glasses.
Also, these are not any of their real names. Except one of them is because I used the real name once by accident.
Angelo (the friendly one) thanked me for my help these last couple of days.
I have a terrible headache in my eyes, right now.
The good news is I don’t have to be to work until 8:00 tomorrow, so I can see the kids off on their first day of school, Aislyn’s first day of school, ever.
I wonder if anyone would notice if I wore a different shirt under my vest tomorrow. I bet no one would care.
I’m going to do it. I’m going to wear my Office Space Michael Bolton T-shirt. No one will even know the difference.
