Saturday is a Sham

Saturday’s not a day off. I/we still have the following to do:

  • Laundry
  • Bathrooms
  • Kitchen
  • Floors
  • Legs 🦵 hee hee, they have a leg emoji
  • Tanning

If we did a little everyday during the week, we wouldn’t have to give up so much of our Saturday or Sunday. Of course, I know that. But I’m usually so tired from eight straight hours of standing on a concrete floor (yes, we do have floor mats, but nevertheless) that I don’t even want to think about housework when I get home.

The weekend is the only time I feel rested enough to tackle these tasks.

Maybe it’ll be different with the new job, if it works out. I still have no letter.

I’m trying to be patient. I know how retail is. And the store manager of a small business must wear a lot of hats. I just wish I knew where to go from here. Should I say something, or do nothing? Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait…
