The good news is it’s not that hot down here anymore. The bad news is the fudge rounds aren’t locked up.
It got up to 102 today on the seacoast. Miserable. It’s been unusually hot this summer, for New England. You get out of the shower, and you’re already wet with sweat again.
Tyline tried to get tank tops approved for today, but they must’ve said no, because nobody had one on. I don’t know how they could’ve said no today. There’s no air conditioning in there, just fans. The office upstairs is air conditioned.
It’s probably too big and open a space to air condition. But for the love of God, don’t make us wear those heavy cotton T-shirts on a day like that.
Well, in any case, I survived. And tomorrow…today is dress down day.
I only did like 20 or 21 boxes today. I was late getting up, late getting to my work cell, late getting set up and getting going. We’ve got to measure all the front door parts until the 19th, because there was a complaint, so that slows me down. Other than that, though, I don’t know why I got so far behind.
I’ve got to get there early today so I can get things done.
It’s probably not for much longer. I have more information, but I’m still nervous about sharing just yet. I have some T’s to cross and I’s to dot.
