I’m trying my best to stay alert until my afternoon dose. I don’t know what I’m going to do if I run out of that, too.
It’s warm, even in the shady backyard.
Our roses out front have bloomed today.
I’m not a gardener. These were here from before we moved in. Last year they bloomed a second time, in July.
There’s a woodpecker somewhere around here.
Bug spray seems to strip my spray tan, so I’m not wearing any. I am defenseless against these nasty creatures right now. I should’ve worn pants.
I’m what they call indoorsy. Even the beach in the summertime, I can only take so much of it. A few hours in the sun and I’m exhausted. I’ll nap in the sun, and then I’ll have to nap off the sun.
Now we’re inside, but I still feel itchy, like the bugs are still on me.
