I got up at 6:45 and I was still the first one up. Is it just me, or is it starting to get lighter in the mornings, too? I mean, 6:45 is late, but still.
So, two off program days, four on, and I still think I’ve gained. I have an extra long week because we’re switching to the Dover workshop on Tuesday night. So that could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on my behavior. I want to have as many on program days as possible.
Aislyn is still…nope, never mind. I guess she was on the iPad in her room. I thought she was still sleeping.
It’s 3 degrees in Dover NH right now. Desmond is indignant. I have to laugh, it’s not like he has to go out in it. I have to go to the store to pick up the groceries I forgot to order. That is a weekly task for me. Especially since Walmart keeps wiping out my previously bought items.
At least I don’t have to shovel. I’m spoiled that way, I’ve never had to shovel snow. I don’t think I’d be good at it. I have very little arm strength.
I used to take a weights class: Body Pump. I really enjoyed it. If I’d kept up with it, I bet I could’ve built up my arms quite a bit. Alas, I did not.
I ordered a journal from WW. I thought it would have WW stuff in it. It’s just a blank notebook with some tab dividers and some non-WW inspirational quotes. I think it cost $20. I could’ve gotten exactly the same thing at TJ Maxx for $10. Oh, well.
I don’t know if journaling will help, as that’s basically what I do here, but I’ll try it. Maybe I can do something different with it, like list what I eat? Of course, I already do that on the app. Whatever. I’ll figure something out.
I injured my ear with my ear plug a couple of days ago. It still hurts. I ordered noise canceling headphones yesterday, as I hate putting things in my ears. Once I almost lost the end of a Q-tip in there.
Anyway, I hope they allow them. If not, I also got some hopefully softer and more comfortable ear plugs.
It’s not that noisy in there. Okay, it’s noisy, but not dangerously so. But they still require protection for everybody. It’s okay, I get it. But their ear plugs hurt like hell.
I have prescription safety glasses, too. They’re cute, I’d totally wear them out without the side shields.
So earphones, safety glasses, yellow (but soon to be blue because I’m not new anymore) oversized T-shirt, jeans, and steel-toed clogs. Quite a different ensemble from my dresses, skirts, and sweaters at TJX.
But it’s good, I’m not spending my paycheck on clothes, I don’t have to waste any time deciding what to wear, etc. Put a red bandana in my hair and I’m Rosie the Riveter—without the arms.
